I heard I Am Legend is shit (as expected). The "mutant"/"vampires" are CGI and look ridiculous. Plus Will Smith don't die at the end, but marries the ultra-religious woman he meets.
Ridiculous.
In "Last Man On Earth" and "The Omega Man", the hero dies gracefully. In "I Am Legend", he dies like a fucking faggot in denial.
In other words, he doesn't DIE!

I think you're correct about I Am Legend's ending. But whatever, I'm still not gonna bother with it. Maybe I'll watch it when it's on cable one day...
Yeah Cloverfield was a great fun film.
Another pretty cool movie I watched recently was Infection (Japan '04), about a guts-liquefying virus let loose in this hospital, turning doctors & nurses & patients into zombie-like psychos... Not a great life-changing classic, but pretty cool nonetheless.
I also need to see Pulse and Suicide Club I think...
