we all like this band don't we? They have an english official website now. members.jcom.home.ne.jp/neconeco/abura_e.html They describe themselves as psychadelic punk, thats a perfect description. Great band, and they are still going!

the singer is sick! I love their earlier '83-'84 stuff tho', personally. Those songs are classic!

I listen to Aburadako quite often, it's real cool old punk.
I can kinda respect what they're doing now, but really, it's not my "cup of tea". What is this? Frank Zappa meets Kermit the fuckin' Frog?
I did read that tho' his vocal style is nonsense-singing, if you listen carefully you can hear him follow the music in emotional/mood kinda way.
But I've yet to hear that ha ha...
Y'know, I've had this live video for ages, I've always thought to myself "WTF is this shit??", and only these last months did I learn it was Aburadako ha ha...
But early Aburadako is something different. Sinister, snarly, harsh Jap Punk - just what the psychiatrist ordered!

Their oldest Hardcore Punk stuff was great, their 1985 and 1986 are great but i dunno about their most modern stuff.
