Well we can discuss quantum physics if you want?

Well we can discuss quantum physics if you want? hell yeah! so, does the universe quantum jump?

so, does the universe quantum jump? You mean, is it possible for the universe to mutate in the "blink of an eye" into an altogether different state, without going through any transition as such? Hmm, possible, yes, I suppose, according to quantum theory. A similar issue of much contention is: Did the universe originate from a "quantum fluctuation" out of nothingness? This doesn't make sense to me. "Nothingness" makes no sense to me. Nor does the concept of "infinity". If you ask me, the universe is a black hole, and we're inside it. We can't see out because our optics can't get past the event horizon, due to speed-of-light liimitations. If you head out in a "straight line", you will ultimately come back to your starting point, due to extreme 360-degree spacetime curvature. The universe can perhaps be visualized as a 4-dimensional "hypersphere" - which, by necessity, requires a 5th & possibly even higher dimensions for it to exist - (eg a one-dimensional "line" does not exist apart from the two-dimensional paper upon which it is drawn). It's interesting. Comments?

yes, sound like a reasonable explination to the universe thing. do you think God did this!? you know how he said that he wont destroy humanity through water

Ha ha dude, I wish I had that one-to-one speaking relationship with God that you have! Oh, you mean you read that in a book? Sorry, I don't buy it.
Maybe there's a God, maybe it's a great cosmic DRAGON (eg Tiamat), or some multi-dimensional CTHULHU with tentacles dipping into each dimension! Or maybe, multitudes of "gods" that look like giant praying-mantises and ride around in flying saucers in & out of our universe! Or, maybe "God" is at the very quark at the heart & soul of every atom in our bodies & the universe around us? Maybe "God" is all of us, somehow splintered & fragmented? Maybe "God" is a wise old man with a white beard? Maybe "God" doesn't exist, and the universe is a freak physical accident that sprung out of nothing?
What is it exactly you mean when you say the word "God"? You obviously think of "God" as a male entity, yes?
Why does not religions allow for honest uncertainty? It is intellectual laziness. Born of fear of death!

well i actually mean the traditional "GOD" image. hmm i still dont know why, The Jesus thing could be a lie but the GOD thing i think is true, that there is a major being.
you never know, god might turn out to be Ghandi or even Bruce Lee, or even Michiro himslef!

If you ask me, the universe is a black hole, and we're inside it. Well I trawl the 'net for interesting information on this topic, and I recently discover I could be WRONG!!! The universe isn't a black hole, but maybe SURROUNDED by one!? We're not INSIDE a gigantic black hole, but every direction we point terminates in an event horizon equivalent to that of a black hole. www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=172838This thread is interesting. But I wonder, does it make any difference?
